Mrs. Margueritta Watson-Green

I have an undeniable passion for school counseling and always knew this was my dream career. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in education from Claflin University and my Master's Degree in Counseling Education with a K-12 school counseling certification from Liberty University. Before becoming a school counselor, I worked as a substitute teacher, shadow, Pre-K assistant, and computer lab facilitator in Orangeburg County School District.

My goal is to use my counseling platform to assist students in becoming college, career, and community ready upon graduation from Lake Marion Technology Center, regardless of their chosen path. My primary responsibility is to promote all students' academic, career, and social/emotional development while advocating for students, parents, teachers, and administrators. We must work closely with all stakeholders to ensure our students receive all the support they need to guide them through high school and beyond.
